Bike the Vote Media is a not-for-profit organization that was founded for the purposes of registering people to vote. We are not a non-profit and therefore have no affiliation with 501C3s or any federal tax-deductible organizations. The film, The Bike the Vote Movie Project, is being produced for the purposes of educating people of all ages on the importance of voting, issues with democracy and current politics ranging from the environment and health care, to the economy and civil rights amongst many others. We are not attempting to influence or persuade anyone to register for a particular party.
All interviews presented in the film were recorded at the will of the interviewees and are the views and/or party affiliations solely of those who stated them. Bike the Vote Media was consistently non-partisan in their efforts to register people across the country while registering republicans, democrats, independents, green party members, etc.
For the purposes of the film, Bike the Vote Media has used certain music, images and archival films to fulfill the meaning of particular scenes and/or thoughts or emotions while attempting to convey various moments of influence both historical and contemporary. For the purposes of education, Bike the Vote Media will be screening the final cut at various venues of not-for-profit status. We ask that if any artist is unsettled by the use of their music or material in the context of this matter that they contact us immediately.
For the purposes of democracy, Bike the Vote Media is attempting to portray in this film a time period of unequivocal political prominence. Bike the Vote Media is an independent film company and has no intention of selling this film or distributing it in such a way as to make a profit. As stated previously, we are producing the film solely for the purposes of educating, informing and publicizing the need to vote and to participate in our nation's democracy by voting.
